Mindful Pregnancy:
Private In-Home Yoga & Meditation

Luxury Prenatal Wellness for the Modern Toronto Family.

Prepare your body and mind for birth with the guidance of a Certified Childbirth Educator and experienced Birth Doula. At Mindful Sprouts, we bring the studio—and a deep well of professional support—directly to your living room.

From your first trimester through to your final weeks, our sessions focus on staying in the "softness" of your pregnancy while building the physical and mental stamina required for a confident birth experience.

The Private Wellness Experience

Unlike a crowded studio class, these sessions are 1:1 and entirely bespoke. We curate an environment of total relaxation, integrating therapeutic nature sounds, curated playlists, and professional aromatherapy to turn your home into a sanctuary.

What Each Session Includes:

  • Functional Movement: Supportive prenatal yoga positions tailored to your body. We offer Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative styles depending on your energy and needs.

  • Pelvic Floor Awareness: Focused techniques for pelvic floor relaxation and softening in preparation for the pushing stage.

  • Hands-on Comfort: Receive professional massage and acupressure throughout the session to enhance circulation and release pregnancy tension.

  • Fetal Positioning: We integrate expert techniques—including the Miles Circuit, Rebozo sifting, and supported inversions—to encourage optimal baby positioning.

  • The Mindful Toolkit: Practice breathing, mindfulness meditation, and self-hypnosis scripts designed to foster an intentional, focused birth experience.

  • Expert Access: Each session includes a dedicated Q&A with Leah to discuss any pregnancy or birth questions, plus unlimited text support between sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Because Leah is a Certified Childbirth Educator and Doula, these sessions go beyond fitness. We are physically preparing your body for the mechanics of birth, using "Yoga Birth Method" principles, Hypnobirthing-style meditations, and Spinning Babies insights to make your labour safer and more effective. These classes are highly relaxing, informative, and curated.

  • Yes. While the focus is on your physical wellness, we can easily adapt the session to include partner-supported poses and massage techniques that they can use to support you during labour.

  • We primarily serve families in Downtown Toronto, Etobicoke, and the GTA. We also service families in Barrie, Orangeville, Aurora & Newmarket, Stouffville, Mississauga, and Blue Mountains/Collingwood. Note: Travel fees may apply to certain regions.

  • Absolutely. Many of our clients have never practiced yoga before. We focus on functional, safe movements that feel good in your body. There is no "perfect" pose—only what serves you and your baby.

  • You can start at any time! Many clients begin in their second trimester as their body starts to shift, but we also offer "Labour Readiness" intensives for those in their final weeks. We adapt the intensity and style—moving from more active Vinyasa in the earlier months to deeply restorative Yin and birth-prep inversions as you approach your due date.

  • Yes, when done correctly and under supervision. We use "supported inversions" (like the Forward-Leaning Inversion) to create space in the lower uterus. This allows the baby’s head to back out of the pelvis momentarily and find a more ideal, symmetrical position for birth. We always ensure you are comfortable and medically cleared for these movements.
