Moms/Parent and Baby Meet-Ups & Classes
Specifically designed to bring together local Trinity Bellwoods moms/parents with infants 0-12 Months
We started this intimate class for parents and babies to fill a need in for postpartum support in our community. We aim to provide a relaxed, semi-facilitated time for new parents to gather in the park, let their babies engage with provided toys & instruments, breath, stretch, sing songs and chat with each other
Some guidance through stretching, breathing, singing songs, mindfulness, and discussion will be offered, based on what parents and babies need on any given day.
Classes are held by a facilitator (the primary facilitator at this time is a birth and postpartum doula, kids yoga teacher, mindfulness meditation coach, musician and Waldorf/Montessori inspired infant caregiver Leah Jackson).
Connection Circles are currently being held in the North end of Fred Hamilton Park & Playground — just a few blocks up from Trinity Bellwoods Park. When the weather is cold or rainy, we will meetup at another location (TBD).

In forest school spirit, we aim to stay outside whenever possible, so dress for the elements (wind protection, sun protection, etc.). Bring an outdoor blanket to sit on, a yoga mat for stretching, and a warm blanket if weather requires
